Ingram Micro advances dedicated security practice with new hire

Ingram Micro has hired a new general manager of cybersecurity as the company takes steps to create a dedicated security practice. Tasked with leading and building the practice, Rod Lazarus joins Ingram Micro from Cisco Systems. At Cisco Systems, Lazarus spent nearly five years as head of cybersecurity services. Overall he has more than 17 years of experience in senior cybersecurity positions at both the vendors and reseller levels.
