Multifiber (MPO) connectors have been present in data centers for some time but their usage is also growing in the telco and MSO worlds. Central offices and headends are being reconfigured as data centers where MPOs are becoming the connector of choice. We also see them being deployed in fiber-to-the-antenna (FTTA) and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) applications.
